Rates

| H.James Company is a Canadian company. Services to Canadian customers are
subject to a 7% Goods and Services Tax. A deposit of up to half the estimated fee may be
required for large projects and new customers. The remainder is due upon completion. |

- Web site and graphic design:
Package rates are available by request. Simply supply an example of the kind of
web site you'd like or submit a draft of the proposed site's contents with some graphic
ideas. If you don't know what you want, be prepared to pay more. |

|
- Help file editing/authoring/compiling:
Nailing down a rate per page or per word is impossible without first judging the
quality of the supplied text and/or the opacity and complexity of the software
application. If you'd just like a cleaning and a shine you might do it with $90 but
if you need a root canal expect to pay much more. |

|
- Database design:
Database design by H.James Co. is available in Access 97-2002 and for MySQL using Perl.
Send in an idea or a sample .mdb file for a better idea of the cost involved. The basic
hourly rate is $45. |
