Help Files: Compiling |
A help file is more than just text. At its best, it supplies a useful overview in its Table of Contents, a thorough Index, relevant links throughout the text, logical browsing sequences, context sensitive window sizing and positioning, and clickable screen shots where appropriate. Adding all of this information, in preparation for compiling the actual Help file and Contents file, can be a sizable, and often tedious task. H.James Company will take care of any or all of these details. H.James Company will use existing Help files, if necessary, and take them apart so that they can be edited, modified and expanded. It will take screen shots of an application and develop Segmented HyperGraphics. And, after editing or adding all footnotes, sequences and graphics, it will compile a Contents file and Help file for Windows95/98. |
